Rockin Off The Traxx

August 20th, 2009 by admin

The much awaited debut for Overload at Off The Traxx is finally here. The boys take the stage at Off The Traxx this Saturday August 22nd, at 9:30pm. Overload Drummer Shawn Lowe said,”We are excited to be playing Traxx. I can’t wait.” The boys have put some new material together to put in the set list that they hope will go over good there. Scot Colburn, Overload Rhythm Guitarist has played there before, and is sure that the people will be dancing all night. There will be give aways from the band and not to mention some kick ass Rock n Roll music. It is sure to be a night to remember. That is unless you have a little to much to drink and then you forget. This will be the first of hopefully many Off The Traxx shows for Overload. So, come on out and “Get Loaded” with Overload at Off The Traxx this Saturday Night. We’ll see at the show.

All Better Now

August 20th, 2009 by admin

Well, If you were at the Overload shows this past weekend, you saw Friday went pretty well. Saturday on the other hand, not so well. The boys were riddled with technical problems that delayed the show for about 45 minutes, and then between the 1st and 2nd sets tried to troubleshoot the problem. It wasn’t until Certified Sound Tech, Joe Elgin showed up that the boys got the sound they were looking for back. It appeared that the crossover took a dump on us and left us fit to be tied. Not to worry though, Jack Link hooked us up with a new one and it is all better now. “We would just like to extend our appologies to Eddy, and everybody that was there. We were not able to preform the standard of show that everyone has come to expect from Overload.” Says Overload front man, Allen LaShier. “Keith was running around like a mad man trying to figure out the problem, He is the hardest working musician I’ve ever seen.” said Bassist AJ Seifreit. Overload will return to the Sports Edge on September 18th and 19th, and the boys all said they promise a much better show. Once again, we want to send a special thanks to Joe Elgin for all his help. You are the man Joe.

Let’s Rock Titusville!!!!

August 13th, 2009 by admin

It seems like a life time ago that Overload was last at Sports Edge. Wait no longer Titusville!! Overload is back this weekend to dance and rock the weekend away with ya. The guys have added a few new songs to the show that are sure to make you get out there and dance all night. Overload managment is currently in talks with a sponsorship deal with el Presidente’ Beer. Next time you are at your favorite adult beverage establishment, ask for one by name. It ROCKS!!! Overload will have some el Presidente’ Beer shirts and hats to give away at the shows this weekend. The first 12 people to buy a shot of Patron, will get a free el Presidente’ Beer. The boys can’t wait to get back on stage at the Edge this weekend. “It is my favorite place to play. Eddy and his staff treat us really good, and the people there are the best.” says Overload Frontman Allen LaShier. Drummer Shawn Lowe said “….I love to play different venues, but it is always nice to come home and rock out to my hometown people. I love this place.” AJ, Keith, and Scot are equally as excited to be back at the Edge this weekend. So, come on out everybody, and “Get Loaded”!! We’ll see ya at the show.

So, if you play in a band, or just wanna get up and play a song or two, or you know some musicians, come on out and sit in on the best sound system around, and see what it feels like to play on an all pro system backed by an all pro light show. Did I mention that it is also Ladies Night? There will be some great drink specials. I can’t think of a better way to spend Friday Eve. All the boys from Overload will be there to get things rolling, and hang out with everybody. Who knows, you may just end up meeting some other musicians that you can start a band with, or add to your current band. So, come on out, and let’s jam the night away.

Rockin on the Edge

August 6th, 2009 by admin

Well, it’s that time again Titusville!!! Overload will be back at the Sports Edge next weekend, Aug. 14th and 15th. They have added a lot of new material that you have never heard them do before. Scot Colburn will be singing lead on a few more songs. Which Allen is happy about. “….gives me a bit of a break. I’ll still be singing back up for him, but it is still a break never the less.”. Bassist, AJ Seifreit said ” I cant wait to get back to the Edge. It is my favorite venue we play.” And as always, the boys will have plenty of Miller Lite give aways. Eddy’s staff is always ready to make sure you don’t go thirsty. Last time the boys were there, one of the bartenders even used her body as a shot glass so that a young man didn’t go thirsty. We need to bring her on stage to do that. Come on out everybody and “Get Loaded”. We’ll see you at the show.

Overload Rocks the Edge

April 11th, 2009 by admin

We would just like to take this time to thank Eddy and his crew for having us last week. Once again, Titusville, you rocked our fucking asses off!!!! We had an awesome time and made some new friends. Not to worry though, we will be back soon. JR Murnane, unfortunately is no longer with the band due to unforeseen reasons. He will be missed on the stage, but the show must go on. Maybe we can get him out to some shows to sit in with the boys. Replacing JR is AJ Seifreit. He has some big shoes to fill, but he does KICK ASS!!!! He brings a new flavor to the band, and we are glad to have him on board. Keep watching for future Sports Edge dates. We’ll see ya at the show.

Thank You Titusville

February 10th, 2009 by admin

Once again Titusville came out ready to rock. After a couple of hick-ups on Friday night, the boys totally rocked on Saturday night. Keith Maples was nothing short of amazing, and Dave, JR, and Al also rocked. As usual Overload had a total blast. Sports Edges owner, Eddy even said that was the best he had ever heard Overload sound. We are looking forward to coming back to Titusville and the “Edge” to do it all over again with some new kick ass tunes to rock your face off. We also are looking to have some Overload Merchandise to give away and also for you to purchase and show your support for your favorite local band. Stay safe and rock hard. We’ll see ya next time. Keep checking out this site for upcoming shows in other venues. We’ll see ya at the show.
